Train the trainer resources

What is the programme and its aims?
These resources and references aim to increase cancer awareness for primary care professionals, particularly GPs, to enable early diagnosis. You can view resources for GP trainees here.

Dr Pawan Randev, GP Clinical Lead for the East Midlands Cancer Clinical Network, has produced a set of videos to help GP trainers and appraisers work with their patients.

Why is the programme required?
By supporting the early diagnosis agenda, the East Midlands Cancer Clinical Network aims to improve early diagnosis and one year survival rates. Faster diagnosis will increase the number of patients living longer.

Who are the partners?
Our partners, as well as the provider trusts and the local clinical commissioning groups, include Health Education East Midlands (HEEM), Transforming Cancer Care for London, and NHS England.
